Absurdly, in the face of “the death of the high street”,  yes, that’s what we are (actually we have an on-license fact fans). With an amazing selection of wines, spirits, champagnes plus local beers and other bits and bobs we aim to guide you to your new favourite ever tipple. We believe that there’s a world of flavour out there that should be explored, enjoyed (responsibly), and talked about and we are here to guide you through it. Quite often by pushing a glass into your hand if you’re in at the right time: regular tastings happen in the store as well as more in depth events on a ticketed basis.

With expert advice, a sense of adventure and possibly some bad jokes we hope to seduce you into our thinking – that great wine comes from real people who really care about what they’re making. The difference between that and an ordinary bottle from a supermarket needn’t cost  you any extra financially but it is a tangible and incredibly rewarding thing that we want to share with you.

Find us at the bottom of Palace Street by the crooked house and Mint Yard Gate, we don’t have dedicated parking but you can stop to collect cases or we can deliver.
